This Privacy Policy explains how QBO Accountant Agent (the "Application") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Application, including information obtained through QuickBooks Online authorization.

1. Information We May Collect

The Application may collect information you provide directly, authorization information needed to connect to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks company and accounting data you authorize the Application to access, generated reports or analysis outputs, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and debug the Application.

2. QuickBooks And Intuit Data

When you authorize a QuickBooks Online connection, the Application may access only the data permitted by the scopes you approve through Intuit's authorization process. This may include company, account, transaction, report, vendor, customer, or related bookkeeping information needed for the Application's accounting review workflows.

3. How We Use Information

Information is used to provide the Application, authenticate authorized access, generate accounting review outputs, support reconciliation and reporting workflows, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal or platform obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or QuickBooks data. Information may be shared only as needed to operate the Application, with service providers under appropriate confidentiality or security obligations, with Intuit or QuickBooks as required for platform operation or review, when you direct us to share it, or when required by law.

5. Data Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law, contractual obligation, security need, audit trail, or user-authorized business recordkeeping purpose.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you should protect your own devices, accounts, credentials, and QuickBooks permissions.

The public compliance pages for the Application are static and informational. They do not use forms, client-side scripts, cookies, login widgets, webhook receivers, or server-side application code, and they do not collect QuickBooks credentials or tokens.

7. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for authorizing only QuickBooks companies and data you have permission to access, maintaining appropriate QuickBooks user permissions, reviewing Application outputs, and disconnecting access when it is no longer needed.

8. Your Choices

You may revoke the Application's QuickBooks access through your Intuit or QuickBooks account settings where available. You may also contact the Application operator through the channel provided in the Application, the related QuickBooks app listing, or KarmaAndGrace.life to ask about access, correction, deletion, or retention of information associated with your use.

9. Children's Privacy

The Application is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone who is not legally able to authorize access to the relevant business data.

10. Changes To This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the Application changes or as legal, security, platform, or operational requirements evolve. The effective date above identifies the current version.

11. Related Agreement

Use of the Application is also governed by the QBO Accountant Agent End User License Agreement.

12. Public Compliance Pages

Visiting the public compliance pages does not grant access to the private application runtime, local files, local devices, QuickBooks company data, or any private accounting environment.
